Bonfire & Clothing Drive – August 4th

Posted on August 3, 2014

Join us for a good ol’ fashioned summertime bonfire complete with s’mores and doing some good! We’ll be collecting clothing for My Girlfriend’s Closet, a non-profit charity that collects gently worn clothing, shoes, and accessories and gives them away for free to foster, homeless, and underprivileged girls and young women ages 13-22. If you’re able to, please scour your closet for items you no longer wear and bring them with you to the bonfire. If you’re a guy, please ask your girl friends, sisters, mothers, etc if they have any items they can donate. Please see below for a list.

The bonfire begins at 7pm at one of the fire pits directly off of Moorland Drive at Crown Point Park (1759-1799 Moorland Drive). We’ll bring the s’mores, firewood and drinks; you bring your smile and an item to donate (and maybe a towel or chair to sit on, and a sweatshirt). We’ll talk about our upcoming events and service projects and get to know everyone better! Please try to be there by 7pm.
