Join us to assemble and hand out care packages to the homeless. First we’ll meet at 11:15am at the courtyard at the Villa Bay View apartments at 2568 Albatross in Banker’s Hill to put together the packages and then we’ll walk over to First Presbyterian Church at 320 Date Street where there will be a line of 50-60 homeless people waiting for a free meal.
Please arrive with some items to add to the care packages (see below for a list), or you can bring 2-3 care packages already assembled. Maybe even host a donation collection at your work before the event so we have plenty of items to give out.
When you arrive at the Villa Bay View Apartments, come to the gate on the left side of the building that leads to the courtyard. If you come late or are having trouble finding us, please call (don’t text) Tanya at 619-786-2862.
If you have a wagon or something that would make transporting some of the goods easier on our walk, please bring it. Otherwise we’ll all just have to carry them. Thanks everyone and see you there!
