Join us for a Friends and Family Community Connection (FFCC) Fight Against Hunger food packing event to prepare 60,000 meals that will be distributed both locally and internationally to countries like Tanzania, Haiti, Honduras, Mexico, Philippines and more.
One package of food provides six nutritionally-complete servings to feed starving children. The cost of these meals is only 25 cents per and covers the cost of rice, protein, vitamins, and vegetables as well as the cost to ship and track the food to its final destination.
If you’d like to help package these meals on Sunday, October 12th at St. James Catholic Church in Solana Beach, please register for a one or two-hour time-slot at http://ffccsd.ivolunteer.com/stjccfpe (scroll to the bottom of the registration page to see more volunteer slots). When you enter your name, put “(SDYP)” next to your last name so we can see where everyone is signing up and hopefully get a group together.
