Mission Blvd Cleanup – February 23rd

Did you know cigarette butts are composed of cellulose acetate, a non-biodegradable plastic, which can take up to 25 years to decompose? Let’s keep San Diego beautiful one neighborhood at a time by cleaning it up!

Meet us on Sunday, February 23rd in front of Mr. Roberto’s Taco Shop (3202 Mission Blvd) at 1pm (we’ll wait until 1:10 for any stragglers). Then we’ll head north on Mission Blvd collecting trash for a couple hours or so then head over to Kevin’s house for a well deserved BBQ! Thanks Kevin!

As always, don’t worry about bringing any bags or gloves, they will be provided. You can park in the Belmont Park parking lot, on the street, or on the east side of Santa Barbara Street where there is an abandoned elementary school with a parking lot.

You can call 619-786-2862 if you can’t find where we are. Looking forward to seeing everyone there.
