They will be planting new California native plants and wetland plants, removing invasives, and cleaning up at the Famosa Slough and Channel treatment ponds and other areas of the Slough.

Wear sunscreen, work clothes (preferably long pants, long-sleeved shirt, hat, and sturdy shoes), and bring a bottle of water. If you have them, bring work gloves,  gardening or weeding tools, or clippers. Gloves and tools will be provided. For more information, visit www.famosaslough.org.

**NOTE: An SDYP founding member may not be present at this event. When you arrive, feel free to introduce yourself to other people and ask if they’re with SDYP’s meetup group.
