Volunteer at Operation Thin Mint Sendoff- Saturday, May 2nd

Posted on March 30, 2015

100 volunteers are needed to help at the 14th Annual Operation Thin Mint Sendoff, a local Girl Scout service project that ships thousands of cookies to our service men and women overseas.

Held at the historic USS Midway, volunteers will help with parking, traffic control and activities. All supplies will be provided. Most shifts begin at 6am and volunteers are asked to arrive 15 minutes before their shift for a brief orientation and to help set up. The shift will be over by 10:30am. Please apply to volunteer at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/VOLOTM2015

Since 2002, San Diego Girl Scout troops and their generous cookie customers have sent nearly 2.5 million boxes of cookies and countless notes of support to deployed troops serving around the world, including Afghanistan, Iraq, Africa, Japan, Korea, and the Persian Gulf, Western Pacific and Indian Ocean.
