Volunteer at the San Diego Food Bank – July 23rd

Posted on July 6, 2014

The San Diego Food Bank feeds over 300,000 people per month, and they rely entirely on volunteers to inspect, sort, and package tons of food for distribution every day. Join SDYP after work on Wednesday, July 23rd from 6pm-8pm to help out! Volunteer projects include:

• Cleaning and packaging fresh produce for immediate distribution.
• Inspecting, sorting, boxing, and labeling food donations.
• Assembling food packages for the Senior Food Program, Moms & Children Food Program, Food Assistance Program, and our Food 4 Kids Backpack Program.

**Please email info@sandiegoyoungphilanthropists.org if you’d like to join so we can get an accurate head-count.**
